This is the most common question asked to us by our customers, and there isn’t a definitive answer because every situation is different. Most of our customers have a cleaning in Spring and then Fall. Living near dirt roads, construction areas or developments will cause your windows to become dirty more frequently, which will require additional window cleaning. Commercial buildings tend to have more traffic than a home on an everyday and weekly basis, which causes the windows to become dirtier a lot more quick. We clean windows in the rain, as long as it doesn’t compromise the quality of work or the safety of the workers. Light rain is not a concern for us, we always clean windows in this type of weather. The real concern is when its pouring rain and incredibly windy. The hard rain can make it very slippery on the ladder or flat surfaces for the workers as well softens the ground which can cause the ladders or even workers to sink while working.

We recommend scheduling at least 1-2 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date, especially during busy seasons.
How can I pay my bill?
We offer several ways to pay your bill and whichever way your choose works great with us. You can pay via:
- Credit Card, Check or E-Transfer – If paying by Credit Card we ask you call us at (519)-681-7827 and give us the number over the phone.
- Check – we ask you to make it to Blue Diamond Window Cleaning and, if possible, please put the invoice number you are paying in the Memo line on the cheque.

Does rain dirty the windows?
Short and simple; No. Rain exposes dirt, it doesn’t create dirt on your windows. Dirt and air born particles are all around us in the air, and love sticking to windows or window screens. To the naked eye, the windows may still look clean and clear, but there is actually a film of dirt on your window. This is caused by several things like construction, yard work, near by farmer fields etc… Overtime, the windows get a little dirtier and dirtier but will still look clean because its what you are used too looking through. But the next time it rains the windows will look drastically worse causing you to think rain water did this. The water acts like a magnet and the dirt sticks to it and is dragged down your windows making the home owner think the rain brought all the dirt with it.
